Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms are intended to set out the Company (hereinafter the "Company") that operates the Saju, compatibility, date-selection and name-analysis reading services (hereinafter the "Service"), regarding the rights, obligations and responsibilities between the Company and its members in connection with the use of the Service.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means the Saju (Manseryeok), compatibility, date-selection and name-analysis readings provided by the Company, together with related supplementary services.
- "Member" means a person who has agreed to these Terms and completed registration through the procedure set by the Company.
- "Content" means all information the Company provides to a Member in the course of the Service, including reading results and explanatory text.
Article 3 (Effect and amendment of these Terms)
The Company posts the content of these Terms on the Service’s initial screen so that members can easily see them. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope that does not violate applicable law, and when it does, it will give notice at least 7 days in advance (30 days in advance for changes disadvantageous to members), specifying the effective date and the reason for the change.
Article 4 (Membership registration)
Membership registration is completed through identity verification via a Google, Apple, Naver or Kakao account and mobile phone verification, and includes agreement to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Those under the age of 14 may not register as members, and registration is restricted unless the consent of a legal guardian is confirmed.
Article 5 (Provision and modification of the Service)
The Company provides Members with the following services.
- Saju (Manseryeok) reading service
- Compatibility reading service
- Date-selection reading service
- Name analysis (naming and renaming) service
The Company may modify the content of the Service where operationally or technically necessary. In that case it will give advance notice stating the modified content and the date it takes effect.
Article 6 (Payment and fees)
Service fees are divided into single-item payment, multi-item (bundle) payment, and subscription, and the specific amounts follow what is displayed on the Service screen. The Company may change its fees and will give notice in advance when it does. Payment is made through a payment gateway (PG) designated by the Company.
Article 7 (Withdrawal of subscription and refunds)
Under Article 17(1) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률), a Member may withdraw their subscription within 7 days of receiving the written contract terms (including electronic documents).
However, under Article 17, Paragraph 2, Item 5 of the same Act, once the provision of the service or digital content has begun, withdrawal cannot be made against the Company’s wishes. Because the reading results of this Service are deemed to have had their content provision begin as soon as viewing starts, once a member views the reading results after payment, withdrawal is, in principle, restricted.
Before applying the above restriction, the Company clearly displays, in a place easily visible to members such as the payment screen, the fact that withdrawal is restricted, and in accordance with the proviso to Article 17, Paragraph 6 of the same Act and Article 21-2 of its Enforcement Decree, ensures members can determine the content in advance, before payment, using one or more of the following methods.
- Allowing partial use (for example, a preview of a sample compatibility reading)
- Providing trial content, or
- Where the above is impractical, giving advance information on the items and structure included in the reading
If none of the above advance measures were taken, withdrawal remains possible even if the member has viewed the reading results. Where withdrawal is recognized, the Company refunds the payment within 3 business days from whichever is later: the date the funds are returned, or the date the withdrawal request is received (Article 18, Paragraph 2 of the same Act).
Refund basis by product type
| Product type | Refund basis |
|---|---|
| One-time reading (Saju, compatibility, date selection, name analysis, etc.) |
· Even if information was entered after payment, a full refund is given if it is before the reading (analysis) is run. · After the reading has been run, the digital content is deemed to have had its provision begin, so no refund is given. |
| Subscription (Daily Premium · all-access pass) |
· The subscription fee corresponding to the remaining days of use is refunded. · However, if any one-time reading was used during the subscription period, the list price of that one-time item is deducted first, and the remaining days are calculated based on the amount left over. · Formula — Refund = amount paid − sum of list prices of one-time items used − amount corresponding to days already used |
| Prepaid balance (expert-mode credit) |
· The unused balance is refunded. · However, if any reading was used with the prepaid balance, the refund is calculated after deducting based on the list price of that one-time item. · Formula — Refund = amount charged − sum of list prices of items used |
Why deduct based on the list price?
Subscriptions and prepaid balances are offered at a discounted price compared to individual payment. If you were refunded after using the discount benefit, the result would be that you used the service more cheaply than the list price, so the portion you have already used is settled based on the list price. The portion not yet used is refunded in full.
Example) If you pay for an all-access pass, use one Saju reading (list price 29,000 KRW), and then cancel — the remaining days are calculated, and refunded, based on the balance after deducting 29,000 KRW from the amount paid. (The actual amount follows the price table and usage history at the time of payment)
In the following cases, a full refund is given regardless of the above criteria.
- Where a reading was not produced because of a service error
- Where a payment was duplicated
- Where the Company could not provide the Service through its own fault
Article 8 (Withdrawal of membership and loss of eligibility)
Members may terminate the service agreement at any time through the membership withdrawal menu within the Service. If an active subscription remains at the time of withdrawal, the Company will give prior notice of this, and withdrawal is processed only after the member confirms it. The handling of personal information after withdrawal follows the Privacy Policy.
Article 9 (Obligations of the Company)
The Company will not engage in conduct prohibited by applicable law or these Terms, or contrary to public morals, and will endeavour to provide the Service reliably.
Article 10 (Obligations of the Member)
Members must not misappropriate another person’s information, register false information, or otherwise engage in conduct prohibited by applicable law or these Terms.
Article 10-2 (Contracts with minors)
Where a minor has paid for a service without the consent of their legal representative, the minor or that representative may cancel the contract. This does not apply where the minor used deception to make others believe they were of age (Article 17, Civil Act).
Article 10-3 (Nature and limits of the Content)

Article 10-4 (Intellectual property and use of Content)
- Intellectual property rights in the decision engine, software and report formats used in the Service belong to the Company or the rightful owner.
- Reports received by members may be freely viewed, printed, and stored for their own personal use.
- However, without the Company’s prior written consent, reports may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, or repurposed for commercial purposes, nor may they be used to provide a similar service.

The Company is not liable for damages arising from a member’s blind reliance on the reading results.
The Company is exempted from liability where it is unable to provide the Service due to force majeure such as natural disasters, power outages, or network failures. However, the Company bears responsibility for damages caused by its intentional act or gross negligence.
Article 12 (Dispute resolution and jurisdiction)
- The Company operates a customer enquiry channel to handle complaints and comments from users.
- In the event of a dispute, users may apply for mediation to the Korea Consumer Agency or the Electronic Commerce Dispute Mediation Committee.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and litigation is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the user’s address at the time the suit is filed. If the address is unclear, the Civil Procedure Act applies.
