Aries Horoscope: what 281 K-pop birth charts actually show

Aries runs from roughly March 21 to April 19 — the Sun moving through the first sign of the zodiac. In the classical tradition this site builds its engine on, its ruling planet is Mars, its element is fire, its modality is cardinal (Ptolemy, Tetrabiblos I.17–18). That much is settled the day you're born, no birth time needed. What we wanted to know is something more specific: among the public figures we've actually measured, how many are Aries — and does that number mean anything?

The real count — 281 K-pop idols, run through the same engine

We took 281 K-pop idols with a birth date verified on Wikidata and ran each one through KLifeMap's own astrology engine — the same calculation, the same rules, every time. 25 of them are Aries.

That's about 9% of the group. If birthdays were spread evenly across the year, you'd expect close to 1 in 12 per sign — about 8.3%, or roughly 23–24 people out of 281. Aries's 25 sits almost exactly on that line — closer to the expected value than either Virgo or Aquarius were in our earlier pieces. We're not calling this a pattern, and this time there isn't even a small gap to explain away: 25 out of 281 is essentially what chance alone predicts.

Aries charts we've already measured in full

Two of the Aries idols in our dataset already have full write-ups, each one showing which planets are fixed no matter the birth hour, and which cross into a different sign depending on when in the day someone was born:

What a Sun sign is, and what it isn't

Your Sun sign is fixed by your birth date alone — it doesn't move within a single day, so no birth time is needed to know it. But it's only one placement in a full chart. The Moon, the rising sign (Ascendant), and the houses all depend on the exact hour and place you were born, and some of them can flip within a two-hour window.

If you want your own full chart — not a celebrity's, yours — KLifeMap's free Birth Chart tool runs the same engine on your birth date, time, and place. If you don't know your exact birth time, it tells you plainly which placements it can still calculate and which it can't — it doesn't guess.

What we don't do

We don't publish personality readings, love forecasts, or career predictions tied to being an Aries. What we publish is what the classical tradition assigns to this sign — its ruling planet, element, and modality, sourced to named texts (Ptolemy's Tetrabiblos, Firmicus Maternus' Mathesis) — and what we can actually measure from real, dated birth records. Where we haven't measured something, we say so instead of filling in a guess.
