November 2026 is the month the autumn retrogrades end. Mercury turns direct on November 13 at about 15:51 UTC and Venus follows on November 14 at about 00:25 UTC, nine hours later. In between, the Sun passes the midpoint of Scorpio, Mars catches up with Jupiter in Leo, and the month closes with Mars entering Virgo.
Every time below comes from the same chart engine behind our free birth charts. Nothing is copied from an almanac.

What does not move all month
| Planet | Sign in November 2026 | Direction |
|---|---|---|
| Jupiter | Leo (about 24°–26°) | direct |
| Saturn | Aries (about 8°–9°) | retrograde |
| Uranus | Gemini (about 4°) | retrograde |
| Neptune | Aries (about 1°–2°) | retrograde |
Saturn and Neptune turn direct, and Jupiter turns retrograde, in mid-December. We give the month, not the hour: for slow planets a small error in position moves a station by days, and our engine is not built to settle that.
Mercury's 67 days in Scorpio
Mercury entered Scorpio on September 30 at 18:24 UTC and leaves on December 6 at 14:25 UTC: 66.8 days in one sign. It went forward to 20.6° Scorpio, turned back to 4.7°, and has to cover the whole stretch again before it can leave.
Is that unusual? We counted every Mercury sign stay from 1980 to 2030: 753 of them, with a median of 18.8 days. But the stays fall into two clear groups. Ordinary stays never ran longer than 39.7 days, while 90 stays lasted about 66 to 69 days, about 1.8 a year. Those long ones are the retrogrades that start and end inside the same sign. The longest in the period were 69.2 days (Cancer, in 1980, 2013 and 2026). There was no stay between 40 and 65 days.
One result follows directly: every person born during Scorpio season 2026 (October 23 to November 22) has Mercury in Scorpio. In most years that is not so (how often each Mercury sign comes with a Scorpio Sun).
What the numbers do and don't tell you
Where a planet is, and when it appears to stop, is astronomy. What astrologers say a station or a conjunction brings is an interpretation, and this calendar cannot prove or disprove it. It gives the dates; it does not tell you what to do on them. This is a calculation, not a reading of you.
How we calculated: apparent geocentric longitudes from the public-domain formulas in our chart engine (Meeus, Astronomical Algorithms; NASA/JPL low-precision orbital elements). Stations are the moment a planet's daily motion changes sign; ingresses, phases and conjunctions were searched to the minute. Treat each time as accurate to within a few minutes for the Sun and Moon, and within a few hours for planetary stations and the Mars–Jupiter conjunction.
